The winner of the Homebyme November project of the month is Lessingstrasse, which was envisioned and created by Sven (svnstfns). Congratulations! It looks like a great place to have a celebration party. This dining room table is at the center of activity. Even in this one image we can see how the warmth of wood is used to set the theme of the home. Rich, deeply colored kitchen cabinets and the giant main beam are great starting points for more rich reds. The eye is naturally drawn to the beautiful red vase so we can use it as an orientation point.
An overall view makes it easier to see that the functional flow is like a large “L” with two legs. The main leg contains the entrance (blue arrow), the dining area and the kitchen. Relaxation and entertainment makes up one leg with great little terraces (yellow arrows) at each end. The final leg has the bathroom and a bedroom with access to the outside.
Pivot around the red vase to the right and the living room comes into view. The tall architectural elements and the giant wood beam are the gateway to relaxation inside or outside on the terrace.
Move around to the left and find a beautifully detailed kitchen that makes creating meals a breeze. The strong mahogany color of the cabinets is quite elegant. A brother of the red vase on the top shelf adds some curved accents.
Looking right we see the familiar red vase and the entryway beyond that. Having artwork hanging on the walls gives a finished and well-thought-out feeling.
Moving into the dining area shows how the layout works so well to keep the eye moving from one beautiful room to another.
A complement to the wood beam is a rich red structure running almost the entire length of the living room. Simple details keep the room feeling comfortably sophisticated.
Bright orange and red walls with built-in storage liven up the entryway and visually separate the front area from the bedroom at the end of the second leg.
More wood, sconces that echo the living room details and a neutral, but strongly textured wall keep the bedroom decor in line with the overall feeling of warmth and welcome. Doors behind us and to the right lead outdoors and into the living room. Plenty of creativity and attention to detail went into making this a home to truly enjoy!
